Kåre tells our story
The year
1981
Ola Nesje started tinkering in a garage in Lysekil. Pennants, stickers, and keychains - small items that became the starting point. You could say that the company was as small as my horns were back then!
The year
1989
We needed a bigger stable, so we moved into our own premises. And that´s where they still are. Solid and steady - just like me when I´m standing on two legs 😉
The year
1993
Time for moose mania! The plush moose toys wew at big hit - soft, cuddly, and perfect for hugs. I´m even thinking about bringing one along on my next walk in the woods...
The Year
1999
This year we went to historical depths – we delivered fishing hats to the Vasa Museum itself! Talk about putting a moose stamp on Swedish cultural history. I’m still thinking about how I would look in a hat like that… pretty cool, I think!

2005
The warehouse and offices were expanded. More space for more products and more moose – you can never have too many moose!

2008
The Sweden music and film were released and played extensively. I usually hum it when I walk in the forest, even though I have no singing talent (yet).

2009
At the Formex trade fair, the series with Crown Princess Victoria and Daniel was launched ahead of the wedding. Talk about royal candy! I wish I had received an invitation, but moose don't go to the royal court... yet.

2010
More space was needed again, so new high-bay warehouses and offices were built. I tried to fit myself in, but I'm quite big...

2013
We sailed on to Åland with a full collection. Hello Åland! Have you seen how beautiful it is there? Almost as beautiful as my horn playing at sunset.

2015
Next stop: Finland! We broadened our horizons and made Finnish friends. I hope they like moose as much as I like lingonberry jam.

2018
We became company of the year in Lysekil! It's like getting a golden carrot – and that's not bad!

2021
As environmentally conscious as I am, I love solar cells! That's why it feels extra good that the company invested in a solar cell park here in Lysekil in 2021. It's LEVA in Lysekil that makes sure everything runs smoothly - so that we save energy in a smart way. Good for both moose, people and future forest walks!
